Odisha CM’s grievance cell resumes operations after Assembly break

Bhubaneswar, (Orissa Today), Sept 23: The grievance cell of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi resumed operations on Monday after a brief hiatus during the Legislative Assembly session. This morning, Majhi was present at the cell, interacting with officials from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) and other departments, as members of the public arrived in Bhubaneswar from various parts of the state.
Notably, on Saturday, Majhi inaugurated a new camp office for the CM’s grievance cell at Mandua in Keonjhar district. The grievance cell had been closed for six weeks during the assembly session, with only a few exceptions for festivals that occurred on Mondays.
Starting this week, 1,000 registrations will be accepted online, enhancing the efficiency of the grievance hearing and redressal process, while also improving crowd management at the cell. Officials announced that visitors will now access the CM grievance cell from a lane along Rajiv Bhavan, while the route near the Governor’s House and AG Square will remain open for city traffic.
