Odisha CM Reviews Industrial Projects in Paradip, Pushes for Faster Implementation
Paradip – Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi chaired a high‑level review meeting in Paradip to assess progress on upcoming industrial projects that are poised to transform the coastal town into one of India’s largest economic hubs.
Majhi directed district administration and industry officials to resolve pending issues swiftly, particularly in areas of land acquisition, approvals, and clearances.
He emphasised that industrial growth must translate into employment opportunities for Odisha’s youth, ensuring local communities benefit directly from the projects.
Key projects under discussion included the Paradip Port expansion, shipbuilding and repair facilities, IOCL and JSW‑led industrial units, AMNS India’s proposed ventures, the Paradip Petrochemical Complex, and integrated steel plants.
