Odisha CM Resolves 88% Complaints in 14th Grievance Redressal Session

Bhubaneswar, August 11, (OT Webdesk) —Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi chaired the 14th edition of the state-level public grievance redressal program today at Unit-2, Bhubaneswar. Joined by eight senior ministers and top administrative officials, the CM listened to citizens’ concerns and assured swift action.

The initiative, which has become a hallmark of the Majhi administration, has already addressed 10,807 out of 12,252 complaints received in the previous 13 sessions — an impressive 88% resolution rate. Remaining cases are under active review.

In a compassionate gesture, the CM met with over 40 differently-abled and critically ill individuals waiting outside the grievance cell before the session began. He personally received their petitions and instructed officials to take immediate steps.

Among the ministers present were Deputy CM Kanak Vardhan Deo, Health Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, Urban Development Minister Dr. Krushnachandra Mahapatra, and others representing key portfolios such as Panchayati Raj, Education, Tribal Affairs, and Environment.

The CM emphasized that listening to people’s problems and resolving them is central to his governance philosophy. Many attendees, visibly distressed, left the venue reassured and hopeful after receiving direct assurances from the Chief Minister.

This citizen-centric program is also being replicated at the district level, helping resolve long-pending issues across Odisha.
