Bhadrak communal clash victim

Bhubaneswar, June 12, (OT Webdesk): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced full education sponsorship for the children of Santosh Parida, who tragically lost his life due to injuries sustained in a recent communal clash in Bhadrak’s Tihidi region.

The state government will bear the educational expenses of Parida’s children to ensure their future security.

In addition to the education sponsorship, Majhi declared financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh for Parida’s family through the CM Relief Fund. Furthermore, one family member will receive a government job to provide stability amid the crisis.

The clash, which erupted earlier this week, resulted in multiple injuries, prompting swift action from state authorities. Majhi reaffirmed his commitment to justice, assuring that strict action will be taken against those responsible for the violence.

Investigations are ongoing, and legal proceedings against the guilty parties are expected.

This initiative aims to support the bereaved family while reinforcing communal harmony in the region. The Odisha government’s intervention underscores its dedication to safeguarding affected families in times of crisis.
