In a heartfelt gesture, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi paid his last respects to Prashant Satpathy, who tragically lost his life in the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The CM visited Satpathy’s family in Balasore and assured full support.
To honour Satpathy’s memory, Majhi announced financial aid of ₹20 lakh to the bereaved family. Furthermore, Satpathy’s wife will be offered a government job to ensure stability, while the state will bear all educational expenses for his son. “We will never forget Prashant’s sacrifice. Odisha stands firmly with his family,” said the CM.
This attack, which took several lives, has stirred national outrage and united citizens in condemning the perpetrators. Odisha remembers Satpathy as a proud son and vows to stand with those he left behind.
