Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi honors Utkalmani Pandit Gopabandhu in Suando

Bhubaneswar, (Orissa Today), June 13: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with his deputies KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, BJP MP Sambit Patra, and other party MPs and MLAs, visited Utkalmani Pandit Gopabandhu’s birthplace in Suando village near Sakshigopal, Puri district on Thursday. They paid homage to the revered figure.

Earlier in the day, Majhi and his Council of Ministers also visited the Puri Jagannath Temple where they offered prayers to Lord Jagannath and his siblings. Following the morning Alati, all four gates of the 12th-century shrine were opened, fulfilling a BJP electoral promise.

During the visit to Suando, the Chief Minister and his team interacted with local residents, listening to their concerns. Majhi assured the villagers that the promises made in the BJP’s election manifesto, which he described as guarantees from Prime Minister Modi, would be fulfilled soon. He further announced the imminent implementation of a new agricultural policy aimed at resolving various issues faced by farmers in the state.
