Odisha CM Meets BJP National President in Delhi to Discuss Party Strategy

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi met BJP National President Nitin Nabin in New Delhi to deliberate on organisational programs, public welfare schemes, and future strategies.

During his visit, Majhi also performed the bhoomi poojan for the new Odisha Bhawan building and held discussions with Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

A key highlight of the trip was the BJP’s preparations for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.

The Odisha BJP core committee has already submitted its proposal for candidates to the central leadership.

The Central Parliamentary Board is expected to finalise names soon, with nominations scheduled to be filed on March 5.

Odisha BJP in‑charge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar confirmed that the Parliamentary Board meeting will take place shortly to finalise the candidates, underscoring the party’s focus on strengthening its presence in the state.
