Odisha CM Majhi Honors Sri Ramanujacharya at Statue of Equality in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, December 20, 2025 — Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi paid homage to Jagadguru Sri Ramanujacharya at the iconic Statue of Equality in Hyderabad.
Accompanied by Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain and senior officials, the Chief Minister offered prayers and engaged in discussions with Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Srimanta Narayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji on India’s spiritual traditions and the relevance of Ramanujacharya’s teachings in modern society.
During the visit, Majhi released an Odia bhajan dedicated to Sri Ramanujacharya, authored by Sri Sri Tridandi Ahobila Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji, aimed at connecting Odia devotees with the saint’s philosophy of equality, compassion, and social harmony.
Reflecting on the occasion, Majhi described the Statue of Equality as a powerful reminder of India’s spiritual legacy and timeless values of inclusiveness, social justice, and human dignity.
He emphasised that these ideals continue to guide Odisha’s vision for balanced development and people‑centric governance.
The visit reaffirmed Odisha’s respect for India’s civilizational heritage and its commitment to upholding the teachings of Sri Ramanujacharya in public life.
