Bhubaneswar, July 27(OT Webdesk): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi participated in the 124th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at the Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram in Mancheswar Industrial Area, Bhubaneswar.
Sharing the moment with ashram students, the CM encouraged them to embrace the Prime Minister’s message of hard work, education, and ambition.
In a symbolic gesture, Majhi planted a neem sapling on the ashram premises, reinforcing his commitment to environmental awareness.
During the broadcast, PM Modi spotlighted two inspiring stories from Odisha. He praised 650 tribal women from Mayurbhanj for reviving the traditional Santhali saree, transforming it into a source of livelihood and cultural pride.
He also lauded Pramila Pradhan from Keonjhar, who uses devotional songs through the Radhakrishna Sankirtan Mandali to spread awareness about forest fire prevention and environmental protection.
Majhi remarked that Mann Ki Baat continues to showcase the struggles and triumphs of ordinary citizens, serving as a beacon of inspiration for the nation.
