Odisha CM Inspires Students at SAI-TED 2025 | Science Key to India’s Future
Bhubaneswar, Nov 26 — Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi underscored the transformative power of science and technology in shaping India’s future during his address at the SAI-TED 2025 festival organised by SAI International School.
Majhi urged students to embrace STEM education, describing them as the architects of a prosperous Odisha and a developed India.
He emphasised that civilisation’s progress is deeply rooted in scientific innovation and encouraged young minds to channel their intellect toward research and discovery.
The Chief Minister praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Rs 1 lakh crore Research & Development Fund, calling it a landmark initiative to enrich India’s research ecosystem and inspire breakthroughs.
He highlighted the inclusivity of the festival, which welcomed students from both private and government schools in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, fostering creativity and innovation across diverse backgrounds.

Prominent guests included Dr Silpi Sahoo, Chairperson of SAI International Education Group, and astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, who shared insights to motivate students.
The event served as a platform to ignite curiosity and align young talent with India’s vision of innovation and self-reliance.
Majhi concluded by reminding students of India’s intellectual heritage: “Indians possess the world’s best intellect and talent. Invest this intelligence in science and technology.
With abundant resources like excellent teachers, the internet, and open knowledge sources, you can achieve a great deal if you set your mind to it.”
