Odisha Chief Secretary Chairs Meeting to Fast-Track Priority Projects
Bhubaneswar, Dec 2: In a bid to accelerate Odisha’s developmental momentum, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja chaired a secretaries’ level meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan today.
The meeting focused on expediting extremely urgent projects and reviewing the progress of schemes announced by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
Ahuja emphasised the mandatory onboarding of new infrastructure projects onto the “Gati Shakti” platform to resolve persistent challenges such as land acquisition, approach road connectivity, and ancillary issues.
A dedicated project implementation database has already been prepared, with directives to refine monitoring mechanisms and strengthen inter-departmental coordination.
Departmental secretaries were instructed to conduct regular reviews of high-priority areas to ensure timely progress. The meeting also addressed critical agenda items, with guidance provided to streamline execution.
Key officials, including Development Commissioner Anu Garg, Additional Chief Secretaries Satyabrata Sahoo, Deo Ranjan Kumar Singh, and Surendra Kumar, along with principal secretaries and commissioners, participated in the deliberations.
Their inputs contributed to a collaborative review aimed at bolstering Odisha’s infrastructure and governance initiatives.
