Odisha Chief Secretary Chairs High-Level Budget Review
Bhubaneswar: Chief Secretary Anu Garg chaired a high-level review meeting at Kharavela Bhavan to assess Odisha’s financial position and expenditure progress for the 2025–26 budget up to February 2026.
During the session, Garg directed all departments to ensure full utilisation of budget allocations within the current fiscal year.
She emphasised timely spending aligned with approved allocations and urged officials to prepare for the effective rollout of new schemes and programs in 2026–27.
The meeting highlighted the importance of efficiency and accountability in financial management to guarantee the smooth execution of development initiatives.
Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary Deo Ranjan Kumar Singh, along with Principal Secretaries, Commissioners, and Secretaries from various departments, attended the review.
