Odisha BJP to Fill Board & Corporation Posts Soon, No Cabinet Expansion: Vijaypal Singh Tomar
Bhubaneswar, Nov 17: Odisha BJP in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar has announced that the vacant posts of board and corporation chairpersons will be filled very soon.
He confirmed that the list has already been prepared and will be declared once the central leadership gives its approval.
Tomar clarified that there are no immediate plans for cabinet expansion in the state. He attributed the BJP’s victory in the Nuapada by-election to the party’s 16 months of successful governance in Odisha.
Highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit on November 27, Tomar said the tour will be significant for the state.
He noted that Modi has visited Odisha seven times in the past year, underscoring the Prime Minister’s consistent focus on the state and its youth.
Tomar emphasised that every visit by the Prime Minister brings new initiatives or benefits for Odisha, further strengthening the BJP’s presence in the region.
