Odisha Assembly Approves ‘AI for ALL’ Curriculum in Colleges

Bhubaneswar: In a landmark move to strengthen digital education, the Odisha Assembly has confirmed the introduction of the “AI for ALL” curriculum across higher education institutions in the state.

The initiative aims to equip students with foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence, preparing them for future opportunities in technology-driven sectors.

Several universities have already taken proactive steps. Rama Devi University has established an AI & Robotics Centre of Excellence, while Sambalpur State Open University has rolled out postgraduate courses in AI within the arts stream.

These developments highlight Odisha’s growing commitment to integrating AI into mainstream education and ensuring students are future-ready.

Officials emphasised that the program will not only enhance technical skills but also foster innovation, critical thinking, and digital literacy among students.

With this curriculum, Odisha positions itself as a forward-looking state embracing the transformative potential of artificial intelligence.
