Odisha ANM Exam Cancellation: Naveen Patnaik Slams BJP Govt, Youth Dreams Shattered
Odisha Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik has sharply criticised the state BJP government following the cancellation of the Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) examination.
Patnaik declared that the decision has shattered the dreams of lakhs of aspirants and pushed thousands of hopeful candidates into uncertainty.
In a statement posted on X, Patnaik highlighted that repeated cancellations of recruitment exams have destroyed the future of many young people.
He questioned how many more dreams would be broken and futures jeopardised due to government inaction.
Over the past 18 months, nearly 18 recruitment exams have either been cancelled or postponed, raising concerns about the administration’s ability to conduct fair and transparent examinations.
Patnaik demanded accountability and urged the government to safeguard the aspirations of Odisha’s youth by ensuring regular and transparent recruitment processes.
His remarks resonated with thousands of students who expressed frustration over repeated disruptions.
Many aspirants explained that they had prepared for months, only to face disappointment when exams were cancelled.
