Among these developments were a new hostel, library hall, and Anganwadi training center, with several facilities named after Odisha’s iconic women, like Sarala Devi and Kamala Pujari.

The government unveiled the Odisha Pushti Mission with a ₹100 crore allocation to boost nutritional programs. Poshan Abhiyan also received ₹284 crore funding to guarantee access to healthy food for women and children. Financial aid under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana was increased to ₹12,000 for families with two girl children, reflecting a profound commitment to child welfare.

Development Commissioner Anu Garg shared the ambitious goal of achieving zero malnutrition by 2036. Awards were given to outstanding social welfare officers, and grassroots leaders presented updates on community advancements. Deputy CM Parvati Parida emphasized strengthening Anganwadi centers and addressing local challenges. The celebration featured insights from key officials and concluded with a vote of thanks.
