Newborn Girl Found Dead in Pond in Odisha’s Ganjam; Police Launch Probe

Ganjam (Odisha): In a shocking incident, the body of a newborn baby girl was discovered floating in a pond at Bhishmagiri village under Digapahandi block of Ganjam district on Tuesday morning.

Villagers spotted the infant in the Badabandha pond and immediately alerted local authorities. Police reached the spot, recovered the body in the presence of residents, and registered a case.
