Naveen Patnaik to Lead Janasamparka Padayatra on Birthday, Reinforces Grassroots Connect
Bhubaneswar, Oct 13 — Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will mark his birthday on October 16 not with fanfare, but with a purposeful outreach initiative.
He is set to lead a Janasamparka Padayatra in Ward No. 52, Ganganagar, Bhubaneswar, reinforcing his longstanding commitment to public service over personal celebration.
The Padayatra aims to deepen engagement with local residents, spotlight key welfare schemes, and energise Biju Janata Dal (BJD) workers ahead of the upcoming civic polls.
Patnaik will be accompanied by party volunteers and local leaders, with security arrangements in place to ensure smooth proceedings.
Following the walk, the Chief Minister will visit SOS Village to distribute sweets and interact with children, continuing his tradition of blending social outreach with symbolic gestures of care.
This initiative underscores BJD’s grassroots strategy and Patnaik’s personal brand of governance—one that prioritises connection, compassion, and community.
