Naveen Patnaik Condemns Rajgangpur Student’s Death, Urges Stronger Law and Order in Odisha
Former Odisha Chief Minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep grief over the tragic death of a college student in Lanjiberna, Rajgangpur, who succumbed to severe burn injuries.
Calling the incident “heart-wrenching,” Patnaik extended his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Patnaik highlighted that the victim’s family had earlier reported threats to her life, raising serious questions about the lack of timely preventive action.
He criticised what he described as administrative indifference, noting that rising violence in Odisha has left many citizens feeling insecure while alleged perpetrators continue to roam freely.
