Naveen Patnaik Champions Conservation at Heart Beats Wildlife Exhibition in Delhi

Former Odisha Chief Minister and current Leader of Opposition, Naveen Patnaik, made a notable appearance at the Heart Beats Wildlife Charity Exhibition held at Bikaner House, Delhi.

The event, curated by Padma Bhushan awardee Dr Ramakanta Panda—founder of the Asian Wildlife Trust and Asian Heart Institute—centred around the theme “Wildlife: Our Shared Future.”

The exhibition offered a compelling visual and narrative journey through India’s conservation efforts, spotlighting habitat restoration, wildlife protection, rescue operations, and animal health.

A key highlight was the emphasis on sustainable livelihood programs for tribal communities, reinforcing the interconnectedness of ecological preservation and social upliftment.

Patnaik’s presence underscored his enduring commitment to environmental causes and his advocacy for balancing development with ecological responsibility.

His visit resonated with the exhibition’s core message: that protecting nature is not just a moral imperative but a strategic necessity for inclusive growth.
