Naveen Patnaik assures continued service to Odisha

Bhubaneswar, (Orissa Today), June 8: Following the Odisha assembly poll results, BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik conveyed his commitment to serving the people of Odisha in any capacity possible in conversations with ANI and PTI.
Expressing profound gratitude to the people of Odisha, Patnaik remarked, “My deep gratitude to the people of my state, Odisha, for repeatedly blessing me, showering me with their support, and allowing me to serve them. We have strived to perform admirably, and both our government and party have much to be proud of.”
Addressing BJD’s electoral setback in Odisha, he stated, “The outcome lies in the hands of the people. In democracy, victory and defeat are part of the process. Having faced defeat after a prolonged period, we must gracefully accept the people’s verdict. The four and a half crore people of Odisha are my family, and I will continue serving them in any capacity possible.”
Concerning his health, Patnaik asserted, “I want to emphasize that my health remains robust and continues to be so. Despite rigorous campaigning in the heat over the past month, my health stands as a testament.”
In regard to VK Pandian, he addressed criticisms by stating, “There has been unwarranted criticism of Mr. Pandian. He joined the party without holding any official position and did not contest in the elections. His service as an officer during two cyclones and the Covid-19 pandemic in our state reflects his integrity and dedication. He should be remembered for his commendable contributions.
