National Defence College Officers Laud Odisha’s Growth During Meeting with CM Majhi

Bhubaneswar: A delegation of senior officers from India’s National Defence College (NDC), accompanied by military officials from Armenia, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, and Nepal, met Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan as part of their study tour.

Welcoming the delegation, CM Majhi emphasised that the concept of “nation” is synonymous with “national service,” highlighting the emotional commitment and discipline of military officers.

He praised the Indian Armed Forces for their courage and dedication during Operation Sindoor, describing it as a shining example of selfless service.

Majhi also underscored Odisha’s legacy of valour and its modern achievements in industry, infrastructure, education, sports, and disaster management.

He noted that the state has emerged as a model of rapid development while preserving its cultural heritage.

The visiting officers commended Odisha’s progress across multiple sectors, acknowledging the state’s resilience and forward-looking governance.

The meeting reflected both India’s military ethos and Odisha’s growing stature on the national and international stage.
