Chaibasa: Jharkhand Jaguar constable Sunil Dhan, who was critically injured in an IED blast during an anti-Naxal operation in West Singhbhum district, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment in Ranchi.
The blast occurred during a search operation in the forested area near Jaraikela police station limits. Another CRPF jawan, Vishnu Saini, remains in critical condition.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed his condolences on social media, honouring Sunil Dhan as a martyr and praying for strength for his family during this difficult time. He also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured jawan.
