Nadda asserts BJP’s determination, vows to tackle election misconduct

Bhubaneswar, (Orissa Today), May 16: The BJP’s national president, currently engaged in a two-day election campaign in Odisha, led a vibrant roadshow from Mausima Square to Lingaraj temple in Bhubaneswar on Thursday morning. Accompanied by the party’s Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha candidate Aparajita Sarangi and Bhubaneswar-Ekamra Assembly constituency nominee Babu Singh, he addressed the assembled crowd.

During his speech, the BJP chief expressed confidence in the electorate’s desire for change, stating, “People in Odisha have decided to grant Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik some respite and entrust the BJP with forming the next government.” He emphasized the party’s commitment to liberating the people of Odisha from bureaucratic constraints and providing them with a new, youthful, and dynamic Chief Minister dedicated to enhancing their lives.

Nadda further asserted his belief in the BJP’s ability to secure all 21 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha, declaring, “The people have chosen to support the BJP and assist Prime Minister Narendra Modi in securing a third term in office.” He promised a “double-engine” government in Odisha, aligning with the Centre’s leadership.

In addition, the BJP president announced stringent measures against any government employees found supporting the regional party during the twin elections, emphasizing the party’s adherence to the model code of conduct. He pledged swift and decisive action against such violations in the coming days.
