Bhubaneswar,(Orissa Today), June 12: Senior BJP leader and four-time MLA Mohan Charan Majhi was sworn in today as the 15th Chief Minister of Odisha. Alongside him, KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida took their oaths as Deputy Chief Ministers.
Governor Raghubar Das administered the oaths of office and secrecy. Additionally, eight Cabinet Ministers and five Ministers of State (Independent Charge) were sworn in, with a notable presence of top leaders from across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Dharmendra Pradhan, Jual Oram, JP Nadda, and several Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states, attended the ceremony.
The outgoing Chief Minister of Odisha and BJD president, Naveen Patnaik, was also in attendance to witness the transition of power.
