Operation Sindoor

New Delhi, May 25, ( OT Webdesk) – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his latest Mann Ki Baat address, hailed Operation Sindoor as more than just a military mission, describing it as a symbol of India’s transformation into a resolute and self-sufficient nation.

In a powerful statement, Modi emphasised that the mission embodied India’s precision, courage, and unwavering stance against terrorism.

The operation, conducted with pinpoint accuracy, was a testament to the nation’s growing defence capabilities, driven by indigenous innovation under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

The nationwide response has been overwhelming, with citizens expressing their solidarity through poetry, art, and patriotic demonstrations like Tiranga Yatras.

Some families even named their newborns “Sindoor” in honour of the mission, reflecting the deep emotional connection it has fostered across the country.

Modi also lauded the contributions of engineers and technicians in strengthening India’s defence infrastructure, attributing the mission’s success to homegrown advancements.

He noted a significant rise in support for the Vocal for Local campaign, reinforcing the link between national security and economic self-reliance.

Concluding his address, Modi stated that Operation Sindoor is the face of a bold, capable, and united India—one that will continue to shape the country’s future on the global stage.
