Mardaani 3 Crosses ₹30 Crore Mark, Eyes Franchise Milestone
Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 3 continues its strong run at the box office, surpassing the Rs 30 crore mark in India within nine days of release.
The film collected Rs 2.75 crore on Day 9, registering a 48.65% jump from the previous day’s earnings.
With a total domestic collection of Rs 30.90 crore, the film is now on track to overtake the lifetime earnings of Mardaani (Rs 35.65 crore).
While Mardaani 2 remains the highest‑grossing entry in the franchise at Rs 47.35 crore, industry watchers believe the latest instalment could close the gap if momentum continues.
Audience occupancy has shown encouraging trends, with evening and night shows recording higher footfalls. Strong word‑of‑mouth and weekend turnout have been key drivers of success.
Directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Yash Raj Films, the movie stars Rani Mukerji alongside Janki Bodiwala and Mallika Prasad.
Mardaani 3 not only reinforces Mukerji’s dominance in hard‑hitting roles but also strengthens the franchise’s standing as one of Bollywood’s most impactful crime‑thrillers.
