Mamta Kulkarni Returns to Screen After 24 Years with TV Debut in Laughter Chefs Season 3
Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni, who ruled the silver screen in the 1990s with hits like Karan Arjun, Krantiveer, and Sabse Bada Khiladi, is making her long‑awaited comeback—this time on television.
After nearly 24 years away from the spotlight, Kulkarni will appear in Laughter Chefs Season 3, a unique reality show blending comedy and cooking.
Speaking about her return, Kulkarni said life has become “too serious”, and audiences need laughter and joy. “What’s better than laughter and food? What else is needed?” she remarked.
The show, hosted by Bharti Singh and judged by celebrity chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, will feature popular contestants including Aly Goni, Karan Kundrra, Tejasswi Prakash, Ankita Lokhande, and Vicky Jain.
Kulkarni’s last screen appearance was in 2003, and in recent years, she briefly embraced a spiritual path as Mahamandleshwar of the Kinnar Akhada before stepping down.
Her television debut marks a fresh chapter, reconnecting her with audiences in a lighter, entertaining format.
