Malkangiri Police Bust Interstate Cyber Betting Racket Four Arrested

Malkangiri Police have dismantled a major interstate cyber betting racket, arresting four individuals—two from Raipur and two from Koraput.

Acting under Odisha’s statewide Cyber Kavach campaign against online fraud, police seized laptops, passbooks, chequebooks, and mobile phones used in the illegal operations.

Investigations revealed 142 mule accounts linked to the racket, with daily transactions reaching up to Rs 15 lakh and overall dealings crossing Rs 1 crore.

The accused operated betting platforms such as 100panel.com, vikash247.com, 11xplay.com, and 99exch.com, using multiple bank accounts and digital payment channels.

Authorities also discovered several WhatsApp groups coordinating betting activities across states.

Police have urged citizens not to share bank accounts or identity documents with unknown individuals, warning of serious cybercrime risks.

Further investigations are underway to identify more associates and expand the crackdown.
