Majhi Hails Modi’s “Nation First” Approach in Crisis Mitigation
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi joined a high-level virtual meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alongside Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and other Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors.
During the discussion, Majhi lauded PM Modi’s leadership in steering India through global challenges, emphasising the government’s focus on economic stability, proactive agricultural planning, and prioritising border and coastal states for uninterrupted supply chains.
He particularly welcomed the excise duty cut on petroleum, describing it as a forward-looking decision that reflects the “Nation First” principle.
Majhi assured that Odisha is committed to ensuring the smooth availability of essential commodities, accurate public information, and strict action against hoarding or black marketing.
