
Maa Samaleswari Appears in Dhabalamukhi Besa on Mahalaya – Darshan Until September 23
Sambalpur, September 21: On the sacred occasion of Mahalaya, the revered deity Maa Samaleswari graced devotees in her divine Dhabalamukhi Besa, also known as Gangadarshan Besa.
This rare and spiritually significant attire, symbolising purity and blessings, drew thousands of devotees to the temple premises.
The temple authorities announced that this special darshan will be available until 11:45 AM on September 23, offering a limited window for pilgrims to witness this auspicious form.
According to local belief, viewing Maa Samaleswari in this attire bestows spiritual merit and marks the beginning of the Devi Paksha.
The atmosphere in Sambalpur was electric with devotion, as chants and rituals filled the air. The temple was adorned with flowers and lights, enhancing the spiritual ambience.
Devotees from across Odisha and neighbouring states flocked to the shrine, reinforcing the cultural and religious significance of Mahalaya in the region.
