Lakhanpur Development Projects Worth ₹4.68 Cr Inaugurated in Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda district witnessed a major development boost as Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari inaugurated public welfare projects worth Rs 4.68 crore in Lakhanpur.

The initiatives include the foundation stone for a Sub‑Registrar’s office (Rs 224.36 lakh), residential quarters for staff (Rs 211.91 lakh), and a modern conference hall at the tehsil office (Rs 31.26 lakh).

In addition, 136 beneficiaries from forest and settlement areas received permanent land pattas.

The government reaffirmed its commitment to provide 4 decimals of land and a pucca house to every landless family before the end of its current term.

Minister Pujari emphasised strengthening local administrative infrastructure and directed engineers to ensure the timely completion of projects with strict quality standards.

The event was attended by senior officials, including the Jharsuguda Collector, Additional Collector, Sub‑Collector, Zilla Parishad Vice‑Chairman, Block Chairperson, and local representatives.
