Barbil ( OT Webdesk): In a significant step towards fostering community development, Jindal Steel and Power’s (JSP) social arm, Jindal Foundation, has constructed a multi-purpose community hall in Bileipada, under the Birikala Gram Panchayat.

The facility was officially inaugurated by Keonjhar MP Ananta Nayak, who lauded the foundation’s efforts and emphasised the hall’s role in addressing local needs while serving as a hub for community engagement.

During the event, Nayak expressed optimism that JSP would continue undertaking such developmental projects in the future, contributing to the advancement of education, healthcare, agriculture, sports, and cultural activities in the region.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of several dignitaries, including Barbil Pellet Plant Unit Head Purushottam M.D., Zilla Parishad member Dambarudhar Kudda, Birikala Sarpanch Mukha Nayak, Naib Sarpanch Kuntala Khilar, Panchayat Samiti member Gyanranjan Khutia, and CSR Head Virgil Lakra.

Representatives from the local community, including Bishnu Khilar, Mahendra Ghana, Arjun Munda, Naresh Pradhan, Ranjit Barik, Veer Singh Munda, Jagannath Barik, Tinku Nayak, Sahu Munda, Sudhamanjari Ghana, Suchitra Majhi, Sandhya Rani Barik, and Shanti Barik, applauded JSP’s initiative, recognizing its potential to enhance community development.

The newly established multi-purpose hall is expected to provide a dedicated space for social programs, facilitating local events and strengthening communal unity.

By promoting collaboration among residents, the facility is set to play a crucial role in improving the overall quality of life in the region.

With JSP’s commitment to sustainable development, this initiative opens new avenues for progress, ensuring improved amenities and opportunities for the local population.
