Kendrapara to Get 100-Bed Super Specialist Charitable Hospital in Odisha
Kendrapara is set to witness a major boost in healthcare infrastructure with the foundation stone laid for a 100-bed super-specialist charitable hospital.
The project, spearheaded by BJP National Vice-President and Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda along with spiritual leader Swamiji Madhusudan Sai, will be developed under the Prashanthi Bal Mandir Trust.
The hospital will be built on 10 acres of land identified by the Odisha government in Rajang, Derabish block, at an estimated cost of Rs 110 crore. Construction is expected to be completed within 24 months.
Once operational, the facility will provide completely free medical care, staffed by expert doctors across multiple departments.
This initiative fulfils a long-standing demand of Kendrapara residents and is expected to significantly strengthen Odisha’s healthcare infrastructure.
Panda had earlier discussed the proposal with Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and senior officials to ensure adequate infrastructure support.
The hospital is being hailed as a landmark project that will transform healthcare access in the region.
