Kadambaguda Headmaster Shifted to Kalahandi After Brutal Attack

Rayagada: A shocking incident has rocked Kadambaguda village in Rayagada district after the headmaster of Kadambaguda Upper Primary School, Santosh Kumar Behera, was brutally attacked with an axe by a local villager on Tuesday evening.

According to reports, Behera was returning home after school hours when Bhaskar Bag, a resident of the village, assaulted him from behind with an axe.

The headmaster sustained severe injuries to his back and collapsed on the spot.

Local residents rushed him to Ambadala Community Health Centre for immediate treatment. Due to heavy bleeding and his critical condition, he was later shifted to Kalahandi for advanced medical care.

Police from Ambadala station have launched an investigation into the matter. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and authorities are questioning witnesses to ascertain the cause.

The incident has sparked outrage in the community, with residents demanding stronger security measures to protect teachers and ensure their safety.
