
Jewellery Worth ₹1.25 Crore Looted from Businessman’s House
Patna, Apr 5 Armed criminals allegedly looted jewellery worth Rs 1.25 crore and Rs 1.25 lakh in cash from house of a businessman under Agamkuan police station area here on Saturday.
Police said that armed criminals stormed into residence of Santosh Prakash, owner of spare parts shop, in Nalanda colony near Dhanki Mor and made all family members their captive. They looted jewellery worth Rs 1.25 crore and Rs 1.25 lakh in cash and managed to escape from the spot, police informed.
“Senior police officials reached the spot on receipt of the information and started investigation to nab the criminals and recover looted jewellery. Family members and neighbours were being quizzed seek details about the criminals,” police added. (UNI)
