India One Aircraft Forced Landing in Rourkela: Usha Padhee Reviews Treatment, AAIB Probe Begins
Rourkela: The Odisha Transport Department Principal Secretary, Usha Padhee, visited Rourkela on Sunday to review the treatment of passengers injured in the forced landing of the India One aircraft.
Several passengers and crew members sustained injuries during the emergency landing and are currently receiving treatment at JP Hospital, Rourkela.
To strengthen medical support, two specialist doctors were flown in by helicopter, while a state‑level medical team has been formed to monitor the condition of the injured.
The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has initiated a probe into the incident, conducting an aerial survey of the crash site.
Officials from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) also visited the site to ensure compliance with the Ministry of Civil Aviation guidelines.
Padhee expressed gratitude to the district administration, police, emergency responders, and local residents for their swift assistance.
She will personally review the situation at JP Hospital to assess whether additional support is required.
