Ind vs SA T20 in Cuttack: Offline Ticket Sales Begin December 5 with Tight Security
Cuttack is gearing up for the much-anticipated India vs South Africa T20 clash at Barabati Stadium on December 9, 2025.
To ensure smooth ticket distribution and crowd safety, the Bhubaneswar–Cuttack Twin City Commissionerate Police has rolled out enhanced measures ahead of offline ticket sales beginning December 5 at 9 am.
Fans will be allowed to queue from 6 am on the day of sale, but overnight camping has been strictly prohibited.
Iron barricades arranged in a serpentine pattern have been installed around ticket counters to prevent overcrowding and black-marketing, following lessons learned from the India vs England match earlier this year.
Separate entry and exit routes near the Cricket Academy have been designated to streamline spectator movement.
Additionally, plain-clothes officers will be deployed across the stadium and approach roads, while CCTV cameras will monitor the ticketing zone to detect unlawful activities and manage surges. Enforcement teams are prepared to act swiftly against scalping or disruptions.
Authorities have urged fans to purchase tickets only from official offline counters or authorised digital platforms to avoid scams.
With these measures in place, organisers aim to deliver a safe and orderly ticketing experience for one of the season’s most-awaited matches.
