Gold and Silver Prices Plunge Sharply for Fourth Consecutive Day
The bullion market witnessed a dramatic downturn as both gold and silver prices fell steeply for the fourth day in a row, sparking concern among investors and jewellers.
According to market reports, the price of 24-carat gold dropped by Rs 9,050, bringing it down to Rs 1,51,530 per 10 grams.
Similarly, 22-carat gold saw a decline of Rs 8,300, now priced at Rs 1,38,900 per 10 grams.
Silver faced an even sharper fall, losing Rs 20,000 per kilogram, with the current rate standing at Rs 3,00,000 per kilogram.
Experts attribute the decline to global market volatility and shifting investor sentiment.
The continuous fall has created uncertainty in the bullion trade, with analysts warning of further instability in the coming days.
Jewellers are reporting reduced customer confidence, while investors remain cautious about entering the market amid unpredictable price swings.
