Galaxy Health Insurance Expands East India Presence; Targets Deeper Health Insurance Penetration Across Odisha by FY26
Bhubaneswar, 21 November 2025:Galaxy Health Insurance India’s youngest standalone health insurer, backed by Mr Venu Srinivasan from the TVS Group and the family of insurance veteran Shri V. Jagannathan, today announced the launch of its regional office in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The expansion marks a key milestone in Galaxy’s vision to strengthen its presence in East India and bridge the significant health protection gap through affordable and inclusive health insurance solutions.
The gap between growing healthcare needs and insurance penetration highlights the urgent need to make coverage more inclusive and affordable for residents across the state.
Galaxy Health Insurance aims to close these gaps by making quality health protection accessible to every household, especially informal-sector workers, lower-middle-income families, and rural migrants who lack adequate financial cover.
As part of its East India roadmap, Galaxy Health Insurance plans to onboard over 1000 agents in the state by FY26.
The company’s focus will be on strengthening distribution and leveraging digital outreach to enhance insurance awareness and accessibility in underserved communities.
