Fire Guts Rs 30 Lakh Property in Bhubaneswar’s Saptasati Vihar
Bhubaneswar, Oct 30: A major fire broke out early Thursday morning at a commercial property in Saptasati Vihar, Palasuni, causing an estimated loss of Rs 30 lakhs. The blaze erupted around 4 AM at the premises of Equipage Infra Co. Pvt. Ltd., destroying computers and critical documents.
Local residents quickly alerted the fire department, which responded promptly and managed to douse the flames. While the exact cause remains under investigation, preliminary reports suggest an electrical short circuit may have triggered the fire.
No casualties were reported, but the incident has raised concerns over fire safety protocols in the area.
