Final Day Frenzy in Nuapada as Bypoll Campaign Peaks

Nuapada, Nov 9: With just a day left before voting, the political battleground in Nuapada has reached a fever pitch. All three major parties—BJP, Congress, and BJD—are pulling out all stops to sway voters in the high-stakes by-election.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi led a massive roadshow from Nuapada to Khariar in support of BJP candidate Jay Dholakia, signalling the party’s aggressive push to reclaim the constituency.

Majhi also launched a sharp attack on BJD, accusing it of neglecting tribal communities during its 24-year rule.

Congress, not to be outdone, is expected to bring in heavyweight leader Sachin Pilot today to bolster its campaign. Candidate Ghasiram Majhi has already been active in Komna, canvassing with state leaders.

Meanwhile, BJD’s Snehangini Chhuria has intensified her outreach with rallies and door-to-door visits across Komna, urging voters to back her for continuity and development.

As the campaign enters its final hours, Nuapada is witnessing a political blitzkrieg, with each party aiming to tip the scales in its favour.
