Dr Abinash Rout Appointed Personal Secretary to Odisha Deputy CM Pravati Parida

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has appointed Dr Abinash Rout as the Personal Secretary to Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.

The General Administration and Public Grievance Department issued the order on March 19, 2024.

Pravati Parida currently heads the Women and Child Development, Mission Shakti, and Tourism departments.

Dr Rout, who previously served as Additional Secretary in the Mission Shakti Department, brings significant administrative experience to his new role.

Mission Shakti, a flagship program empowering women through self-help groups, has been a cornerstone of Odisha’s social development initiatives.

Dr Rout’s appointment is expected to strengthen administrative leadership and enhance coordination across these crucial sectors.
