Safety Measures and Advisories
Fishermen have been advised to avoid venturing into the sea from October 26 due to rough conditions over the west-central Bay of Bengal. Coastal residents are urged to stay indoors during intense weather and follow updates from local authorities.
Disaster response teams have been mobilised in vulnerable areas. Residents are advised to avoid waterlogged zones and weak structures.
Outlook
The system is expected to weaken gradually after October 30. However, persistent rainfall may lead to waterlogging and localized flooding in low-lying regions.
