CPET 2026 Application Deadline Extended Till March 22 | Odisha Higher Education Update
Bhubaneswar, March 19: The Higher Education Department has extended the deadline for the Common Postgraduate Entrance Test (CPET) 2026 applications until March 22, 11:45 PM
The earlier deadline of March 18 has been pushed back to give relief to students who could not complete their applications in time.
Applications must be submitted through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal using the Common Application Form (CAF).
Officials emphasized that CPET remains mandatory for admission into postgraduate courses for the academic session 2026–27, with selection based on marks secured in the entrance exam.
The academic calendar has been structured to ensure postgraduate courses across universities and colleges commence by July 10, 2026, keeping the cycle on track.
Authorities have urged aspirants to utilise the extended window without delay.
This extension is expected to benefit thousands of students across Odisha, ensuring wider participation in the state’s centralised PG admission process.
