Cooperative fertilizer major IFFCO gets “Best Mother Plant Award 2025”
Bhubaneswar, Aug 12 (UNI) The Paradip unit of Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) has been conferred with the “Best Mother Plant Award 2025” by the Odisha Assembly of Small & Medium Enterprises (OASME) during its 40th Foundation Day & Annual Convention 2025 celebration today.
The prestigious award was presented by Sampad Charan Swain, Minister of Industry, Skill Development & Technical Education, Gokula Nanda Mallick, Minister of MSME, and Hemanta Sharma, Secretary, Industry.
This recognition acknowledges IFFCO Paradip Unit’s outstanding contribution in supporting over 180 MSME industries in the state through supply chain facilitation, capacity building, and collaborative growth initiatives.
The unit’s efforts have significantly contributed to industrial development, employment generation, and fostering a strong ecosystem for small and medium enterprises in Odisha, said a senior official of the cooperative fertiliser major.
The Unit Head of IFFCO Paradip P K Mahapatra expressed gratitude to OASME and the Government of Odisha for the honour.
“This award is a testament to IFFCO’s commitment towards inclusive growth and our constant endeavour to strengthen MSMEs as vital partners in the state’s industrial progress”, Mahapatra
said.
IFFCO Paradip Unit continues to play a pivotal role not only in producing world-class fertilisers but also in promoting sustainable industrial partnerships, aligning with the vision of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” and Odisha’s industrial growth roadmap, he added.
