Congress MLA Mangu Khilla, 37 Passengers Escape Bus Fire in Andhra Pradesh
In a dramatic incident early Saturday morning, an Orange Travels bus travelling from Bhubaneswar to Malkangiri was completely gutted by fire near Ramabhadrapuram in Andhra Pradesh.
The bus, carrying 37 passengers, caught fire around 3 a.m., sparking panic among those onboard.
Thanks to the driver’s quick response, all passengers managed to escape unharmed.
Among them was Chitrakonda Congress MLA Mangu Khilla, who played a crucial role in assisting passengers during the evacuation.
His presence of mind and leadership helped ensure that everyone reached safety.
Authorities reported that another private bus was arranged to transport the stranded passengers so they could continue their journey.
MLA Khilla later praised the driver’s alertness, noting that his swift action prevented what could have been a major tragedy.
