CM Mohan Majhi orders immediate treatment for ailing 12-year-old boy from Balangir

Bhubaneswar,(Orissa Today) Feb 3: In a swift humanitarian response, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday ordered urgent medical treatment for a 12-year-old boy from Balangir district after his family sought help at the Chief Minister’s grievance cell.
The boy, Alok Kalsingh from Saintala in Balangir, had been suffering from a severe ailment that left him unable to walk. His family, struggling with financial constraints and unable to afford further treatment, brought him to Bhubaneswar, hoping for assistance.
Upon learning about Alok’s condition, CM Majhi promptly directed officials to arrange an ambulance and transfer him to the Capital Hospital for immediate medical attention. Within minutes, Alok was shifted to the hospital, where doctors began his treatment. The Chief Minister also instructed officials to ensure the best possible care for the child.
Alok’s family had spent considerable money on treatment but saw no improvement, leaving them in despair. The Chief Minister’s intervention has now brought them hope.
During the grievance cell session, CM Majhi also attentively addressed the concerns of other visitors and ensured quick resolutions to their issues.
