In an unprecedented initiative of participatory governance, the Odisha government, led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, hosted its 10th Public Grievance Hearing in Sambalpur, transforming the city into a hub of state administration for the day. With over 2,400 grievances registered—1,000 online and 1,400 offline—the government demonstrated its commitment to transparency and citizen welfare.
The event featured immediate relief efforts, such as ₹19.5 lakh in medical aid for 18 individuals battling severe illnesses. Citizens raised various concerns, including pension disputes and irrigation challenges, which were resolved on the spot.
