CM Majhi Resolves 95% Public Grievances in Odisha | Jan Abhiyog Sunani

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has intensified his direct engagement with citizens through the Jan Abhiyog Sunani programme, a grievance redressal initiative held three to four times every month at the CM’s Grievance Cell.

Since its launch in July 2024, the programme has witnessed overwhelming participation, with over 56,000 citizens presenting their concerns directly to the Chief Minister.

Remarkably, nearly 95% of grievances raised during these hearings have already been resolved.

The initiative places special emphasis on vulnerable groups, including differently-abled persons, senior citizens, and patients with serious illnesses. Many of them have received immediate assistance during the hearings.

In addition to in-person sessions, the government has received more than 1.49 lakh complaints through online portals and postal services, with nearly 88% already disposed of. Cabinet ministers and senior officials regularly attend the hearings, ensuring swift decisions and faster resolutions.

This citizen-centric approach underscores the government’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and responsive governance in Odisha.
